Fashion Design, Ladies' Clothing

Fashion sketches by sixties high-end clothing designers, from "The Fashionable Savages", first edition.  Most did custom hand cut, hand detailed tailoring for clients, incorporating luxurious silks, woolens, new, and exotic textiles.  Hand made custom cut clothing is far better than off-the-rack (even if you make it yourself, imo).

The artist who drew this fine engraving, often drew lovely young Victorian Era ladies, in sumptuous silk and velvet finery.  His paintings would make a very pleasant, cohesive collection for fashionistas.

Curtsy

In the age of long skirts, that would have been daring attire.
